It's finally time to pick the final member of the Facemelting Foursome!
In this last semifinal battle, Mastodon took on Austrian Death Machine. And once again, we couldn't help but marvel at the joke band's ability to make it this far with their surprisingly catchy metal. But at last, ADM's reign of delicious terror ground to a halt, as Mastodon's "Crack The Skye" once again overpowers the competition. Mastodon wins, but at least Ahnold can say he's fallen to a worthy competitor.
Tomorrow: the first of two final rounds: Isis vs Converge. Thursday: Shadows Fall vs Mastodon. And finally, Friday we crown the ultimate winner. There can be only one.
