Okay. Dream Theater vs Cannibal Corpse.
DT and I go waaayyy back. And "Black Clouds & Silver Linings" is definitely on the heavier side of their works. The wimpy parts aren't quite so effeminate, blah blah blah. Listen. Cannibal Corpse's "Evisceration Plague"? Fantastic. Remember the feeling you had when you heard Malevolent Creation for the first time? Yeah, it's like that. So, wow, I never thought I'd say it, but the new Cannibal Corpse completely pwns Dream Theater, and rightfully goes on to the next round. Believe it.
Tomorrow, the last match of the first round of the Arsies: Vader vs Mastodon. Goodness.
