And so it begins: the Arsies Presents Metal Madness!
Today kicked off the tournament, pitting Alice In Chains' comeback album against Napalm Death. In the end, AIC squeaked out ahead of the competition. Sure, "Black Gives Way To Blue" is a little plodding vs Napalm Death's blast beat brutality, but BGWTB is still a more interesting listen. Honestly, I couldn't make it through all of "Time Waits For No Slave" in one sitting -- can you?
Monday: Isis vs Voivod. Poor Voivod.
